Cooking Classes
Do you need a little assistance in the kitchen and want to take a private cooking class in the comfort of your New York City home?
Our classes include tricks, techniques, and recipes that will be just what you need to make cooking an everyday part of your life. We’ve taught in a variety of venues, including Haven’s Kitchen and the Institute of Culinary Education, but we believe that the best learning experience comes from using your own counter-tops and equipment, so you’ll be able to execute these new recipes again and again.
What You’re Getting
Classes are between 1 ½ and 2 hours, depending on the menu, during which time we will prepare 2 to 4 dishes from start to finish. All menus are custom designed to suit your tastes, skills, and kitchen equipment.
Location
Classes can be held in any kitchen in the NY/NJ/ CT area. When you purchase a class below, you will receive a detailed questionnaire to help us learn more about your kitchen layout and equipment. No kitchen is too small to teach in, but also be prepared to use tabletops in living or dining areas as extra class space. Have No Space NO worries, we have classes at LaunchPad, Newark NJ.
Menus
The menu will be designed with the indivaule / group to accomidate skills level and taste.. Classes are tailored to individual tastes and instructional needs. Each student will receive electronic copies of the recipes at the end of class.
Scheduling
Weekend availability is extremely limited and may need to be booked months in advance. Please be prepared to enjoy your class on a weeknight and offer three date options when getting in touch, as dates fill up fast and may need to be booked a few months out. Unfortunately, due to the volume of inquiries, we cannot begin the scheduling discussion or lock in a date until a class has been purchased below.
Pricing
Class costs include all fresh ingredients, which we procure, but not basic pantry items. If your menu choices require specialty ingredients beyond the scope of the sample recipes, supplemental fees may apply. Contact Us pricing. Private Chef Service
Fromscratch Private Chef brings our breadth of culinary experience into the homes of families who need convenient, healthy meals. We create customized meals to your liking, snacks, or meal kits and can accommodate all dietary preferences to meet your needs for yourself, family, or client services. I find joy in creating menus and meals to suit my clients’ needs. Menus can be prepared on-site, in-home, in the office, on a production shoot, or as a fully prepped drop-off delivery.
For my private chef services, I offer an in-home weekly preparation of meals customized to your culinary and dietary needs. My menus incorporate a wide variety of global flavors ranging from Caribbean, French, Asian, Greek, Italian to American comfort and even different dietary needed like Vegan, Keto, and More.
How it works:
Meal plans can be once or twice a week: 2–3 meals are prepared at once
Each meal consists of a main course + 1–2 side dishes
The menu will be emailed to you a few days prior to the date of service
All grocery shopping and clean up are included
After the meals are prepared, they are packaged and labeled for your convenience and dinner is ready for you to enjoy with some simple reheating!
